DFL CD2 Organizer - Coffee & Conversation
Come grab a coffee and meet DFL CD2 Organizer, Betsy Rosemark, and learn about ways to chat meet new people, be with like-minded people, chat politics, and learn more ways to get involved with the DFL! Feel free to drop in whenever and stay as long as you’d like.
DFL CD2 - Districtwide Phonebank
We’ll be connecting with voters across the district every Wednesday night from 6-8 pm and asking them what issues matter most to them, along with what they’d like to see out of the elected officials. This is a virtual event over Zoom (link will be provided the day of the call), and a brief training is provided!
DFL CD2 - Central Committee Meeting
The DFL CD2 Central Committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month via Zoom. Want to attend as a guest speaker for a candidate or campaign? Email us at [email protected].
DFL CD2 - Convention
The DFL CD2 Convention date is now set. Convention delegates and alternates will be elected at the local CD2 Organizing Unit Conventions.
At the CD2 Convention, we will:
- Endorse a candidate for U.S. Representative for CD2 (currently held by Angie Craig)
- Elect seven members to serve on the DFL State Central Committee
- Elect members to serve on DFL State Standing Committees and State Convention Committees
- Elect two State Directors to serve on the DFL State Executive Committee
- Consider amendments to the DFL CD2 Constitution

SD56 - Unity in Action - Join the Rhythm Fundraiser
Join SD56 for their Spring Fundraiser. Featuring dance music from Charmin Michelle and KJ Quartet. Hotdish dinner, salad, drinks, silent auction, speakers and dancing!
We could use some help with putting on this party. We are looking for hotdish donations and auction donations. We are celebrating the day before Pi Day (3/14) so pie donations for the auction are encouraged. We also would love some donations of services, events or experiences: click here to sign up.
Dakota County 20/58 - Candidate Vetting of Ed Fellows
Join Dakota County 20/58 to vet Ed Fellows, MN House 58B candidate. Ed is preparing to run against GOP incumbent, Drew Roach.
Vetting is a chance to learn about a candidate’s qualifications and personality. It has more directed questions than a casual meet-and-greet. This is a great opportunity to witness a campaign begin to take shape.

We will be discussing senior scams, and how to better protect yourself.
SD56 - Frank Talks History
Join SD56 and noted historian and educator, Frank Sachs, as he discusses history topics. March’s topic is “Our Representative Government.” Come and learn how our Representative government has evolved over the past 240 years, how it has increased, occasionally been restricted, and changed over time. Learn about the role the Census plays, redistricting, Gerrymandering, the impact of state governments, the courts, and where it stands today and going forward.
You will be entertained while be educated. Previous attendance to Frank’s previous presentations is not necessary. All DFLer’s are welcome. Consider giving a donation to SD56 when you attend.
SD57 - St. Patrick's Day Irish Coffee Happy Hour
Join SD57 for their St. Patrick’s Day Irish Coffee Happy Hour. This is being held at a private home so you will be emailed the location the week of the event (RSVP below). Hope to see you there.

Join Rice/Scott County 58 for their 2026 DFL Garden Party. All local and statewide candidates will be invited. The primaries will be over and this will be a great time to unite behind our endorsed candidates.
SD56 - Weekly Rally for Our Rights
Join SD56 for a weekly sidewalk rally. Every Thursday, we are standing with our protest signs on the corner of Cedar Avenue and Country Road 42. Please join us! We get lots and lots of positive honks and we are a fun group of people. We hope you can join us on the southeast corner. Park by the Cole’s Hair Salon and you will be close to a cleared sidewalk that leads you to the corner. Bring a sign OR borrow a sign from us.

DFL State Auditor Candidate Forum
Join us for a virtual forum with all four DFL State Auditor Candidates: Zack Filipovich, Adam Jennings, Ben Schierer, and Dan Wolgamott.
This is event is sponsored by a coalition of DFL Caucuses: African American Caucus; AAPI Community Caucus; Environmental Caucus; Feminist Caucus; Jewish Community Outreach Organization; Muslim Caucus; Minnesota Young DFL Caucus; Rural Caucus; and Senior Caucus.

Outreach Officer Onboarding Training
This training provides a structured overview of the Outreach & Inclusion Officer role within the Minnesota DFL. We will examine how the role is formally defined in party governing documents, how it evolved from the historic Affirmative Action Officer position, and how outreach functions as intentional, relational organizing rather than one-time engagement.
Participants will explore the relationship between outreach, inclusion, and accessibility; the leadership responsibilities of Outreach & Inclusion Officers and Vice Chairs who serve in the role; and practical examples from party units across Minnesota that demonstrate sustainable, community-centered organizing. The session is designed to ground officers in official expectations while emphasizing flexibility, shared responsibility, and strategies for building durable, inclusive political participation.
Multiple sessions to choose from. All sessions via Zoom starting at 7:00 pm.
DFL Senior Caucus - Day on the Hill
Join the DFL Senior Caucus for a “Day at the Hill.” Hear from and engage with our legislators and party leaders! Our priorities are: Healthcare, Security, and Affordability.
The Lady Slipper Room is on the first floor, accessed without steps from the parking lot on the southeast side. Centennial Parking Ramp, Orange Level – Southeast corner of Rev. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. and W. Central Park Pl. Enter from Rev. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. This ramp includes handicapped parking on the orange level.

Minnesota Farmers Union - Farmer-Led Solutions: Investing in Cooperatives for a Changing Climate
Join our friends at the Minnesota Farmers Union for a conversation about why the cooperative model remains a powerful tool for strengthening rural economies and advancing climate resilience.
In 2023, the Minnesota Farmers Union Foundation launched the Cooperatives for Climate grant program to support farmer-led cooperatives advancing solutions to pressing economic and climate-related challenges. The program offers a compelling proof of concept: targeted, place-based investments in cooperative development can unlock lasting, farmer-led climate solutions while strengthening local economies.
This webinar will:
- Explore the importance of cooperative development as a strategy for long-term community stability
- Share the vision and design behind the innovative Cooperatives for Climate grant program
- Feature grant recipients discussing lessons learned from launching new cooperatives and the critical role of early-stage funding
- Present findings from a recent program evaluation, including recommendations for future investment in cooperative infrastructure

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.

We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Indivisible Burnsville - No Kings 3 Volunteer Interest Survey
Our friends at Indivisible Burnsville need volunteers for the No Kings 3 Rally planned for Burnsville on March 28th on Nicollet Ave and 126th Street in front of Nicollet Commons Park from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
This is just an interest form, so there is no commitment here, but please think about your answers thoughtfully as we will use them to determine who and when we should contact people interested in getting involved. Phone numbers are not required, but will be very useful. All information provided is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any other organizations.
With over 3,500 citizens joining the last No Kings in October, there is a high probability of a great turnout! This is very exciting, but will definitely require many people to step up to make it successful. This list may not be comprehensive; it’s possible we’ll think of new things as we move forward. If you think of a way to help that we haven’t included let us know in the last response item.

Prism Organizing Network - South Metro Trans Day of Visibility
Join our friends at the Prism Organizing Network to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility! Celebrate the gifts of transgender, nonbinary, genderqueer, and gender diverse people. Transgender visibility (alongside the active participation of cisgender allies) is one way that we build communities of greater safety, dignity, and freedom for LGBTQ folks all across Minnesota.
Together we’ll enjoy live music from trans musician Mikko at 6:30 p.m., followed by show tunes at 7:30 p.m. from Jen Burleigh-Bentz and pianist David Lohman. Elsewhere in the building, enjoy delicious homemade food, play games, create affirming artwork, and contact legislators about the importance of supporting transgender Minnesotans. Note that while this event is happening at a church, people of all backgrounds and identities are welcome just as you are.

Hastings Progressives - Protest Against Fascism Weekly Rally in Hastings
Join our friends at Hastings Progressives on the corner of 4th and Vermillion streets – just outside Hastings City Hall. For two months, we have shared our solidarity against Trump and fascism in full view of motorists traveling through Hastings. Most offer supportive honks and waves, while a few angry white folks express their disapproval. It’s fun, it’s free and it helps us realize WE ARE NOT ALONE!
Come make new friends, get some fresh air and stand up for democracy and what the United States of America actually stands for!
